What is the turnaround time for Ethical Clearance applications?

At most two (2) weeks, (for students this starts after the supervisor approval).

What is the difference between Research Ethical Clearance and Data Collection Letter?

Research ethical clearance is a process of ensuring that the research participants are protected from any risks that can be posed by the study. Data collection letter, on the other hand, is more of a letter that grants the researcher permission to conduct a study in a given place.

Can I modify my application after submission?

Yes, you can modify your application by clicking the modify option. However, you can't modify it after your supervisor has signed it. You can modify it as long as the Supervisor section is still Pending.

How do I check my ethics clearance status?

Each section shows the outcome. If the status is Pending, it means it's pending consideration.
